Het Muziekfestival Cydonia Barocca / 9de editie hobo wordt tijdens het Pinksterweekend (23-25 mei 2026) in Gent georganiseerd. Cydonia Barocca wil zeker ook een ontmoetingsplaats zijn voor liefhebbers en jonge professionelen. Daarom bieden wij een podium aan voor deze enthousiaste muziekliefhebbers, in 2026 met werk van Bach, Telemann of Graupner waarin de hobo (barok of modern) een prominente rol speelt. Tijdens het Pinksterweekend van 23 tot 25 mei 2026 wordt in het kader van het muziekfestival Cydonia Barocca Gent een open podium georganiseerd voor niet-professionele (barok)hoboïsten van alle leeftijden, alle niveaus, wel of niet verbonden aan een muziekschool. De presentaties gaan door in het Muziekconservatorium, Hoogpoort 64, 9000 Gent van 23 tot 25 mei 2026

De spelregels:

  • - uitsluitend werk van Bach, Telemann of Graupner waarbij de (barok)hobo een prominente rol speelt solo, met basso continuo, of kamermuziek (max. 4 spelers)
  • - geen leeftijdsgrens, alle niveaus welkom
  • - duur van het optreden max. 15 min.
  • - een begeleider is beschikbaar indien aangevraagd (415/440) (niet voor kamermuziek)
  • - beoordeling en commentaar op eigen niveau door experten, dus het is geen wedstrijd en ook niet voor punten!
  • - partituren van Graupner en Telemann op aanvraag
  • - inschrijvingen tot 15 mei 2026 (geldig na betaling van 20 € op rekening BE87 2900 1680 7794 op naam van Vox Temporis vzw)

The Cydonia Barocca Music Festival / 9th edition oboe will be organized in Ghent during the Pentecost weekend (May 23-25, 2026). Cydonia Barocca certainly also wants to be a meeting place for enthusiasts and young professionals. That is why we offer a stage for these enthusiastic music lovers, in 2026 with works by Bach, Telemann or Graupner in which the oboe (baroque or modern) plays a prominent role. During the Pentecost weekend from May 23 to 25, 2026, an open stage will be organized as part of the Cydonia Barocca Ghent music festival for non-professional (baroque) oboe players of all ages, all levels, whether or not affiliated with a music school. The presentations will take place in the Music Conservatory, Hoogpoort 64, 9000 Ghent from May 23 to 25, 2026

The rules:

  • - only work by Bach, Telemann or Graupner in which the (baroque) oboe plays a prominent role solo, with basso continuo, or chamber music (max. 4 players)
  • - no age limit, all levels welcome
  • - duration of the performance max. 15 min.
  • - an accompanist is available if requested (415/440) (not for chamber music)
  • - feedback and commentary at your own level by international experts, so it is not a competition and not for points!
  • - scores of works by Graupner and Telemann can on request
  • - registrations until May 15, 2026 (valid after payment of 20 € on account number BE87 2900 1680 7794 of Vox Temporis vzw)
