After a long period of preparation, the first volumes of this scientific-practical series of selected works by Graupner have appeared. Published by the Christoph-Graupner-Gesellschaft (Ursula Kramer) together with Cydonia Editions Gent (Florian Heyerick) and distributed by Golden River Music, the series makes this repertoire available in reliable modern editions.

Until now, much of Graupner’s music has been accessible mainly to specialists working directly from historical manuscripts. The new series is intended especially for advanced young musicians, students and performers who need practical printed material.

Graupner’s most important concertos will appear gradually, each with score, complete parts and a piano reduction by Florian Heyerick and Guy Penson.
